WP4 - Silicon wiring
In this workpackage we study the passive components needed for routing and filtering the optical signals. These will be fabricated using silicon nanophotonic waveguides. The tasks within this workpackage are:
- Design and deliver router and demultiplexer devices to be used in the demonstrators
- Investigate the scalability of these devices
- Investigate a novel type of router devices based on the SCISSOR-concept
- Investigate “manufacturability” of SOI devices.
